As new technologies and therapeutic interventions are continually being developed, ophthalmology has become a field of rapid change . IOAW Journal of OPHTHALMOLOGY was established in 2005, with the aim of disseminating information relevant to ophthalmology throughout the Middle East and to interested groups worldwide.

The objectives of IOAW Journal of OPHTHALMOLOGY are as follow:

1-To provide a platform for the publication of information relevant to ophthalmologists

2-To disseminate information that will improve the care of patients with all types of ophthalmological disorders

3-To increase the understanding of such disorders through reporting of educational activities

4-To publish the results of research programmes to expand knowledge about the causes, prevention, and treatment of ophthalmological disorders

5-To provide a forum for young and relatively inexperienced researchers to present their research results as Original Articles via an international platform

6-To maintain and promote relationships with any organization with similar goals.
